Eggs cook at as little as 144F degrees, so when typical egg powder products are produced with heat exceeding 350F degrees, the essence of the egg isn’t quite the same and it’s evident in the taste. We dry our egg crystals at temperatures below 144F degrees to preserve the full flavor and functionality, so when you add water and cook our egg crystals the way you like, they’ll taste just like the whole egg we started with. United StatesPut a package in a dry plastic water bottle and use as needed on the trail. Super light. Super easy to mix. Just add heat and you have scrambled eggs for breakfast or to add to your ramen. Tastes just like eggs. Be sure to measure the water as directed.. but should you not have a measure. Too much water is better than too little.
United StatesI'm a pretty picky eater, but these eggs are almost the same as fresh eggs. I have had a pouch for a while and only tested it once. We are going on a backpacking trip, so I wanted to be sure I could stand eating them on the trip. Today I rehydrated the total of 3 eggs and let it sit for about 10 minutes before cooking. I added about 3 inches of turkey pepperoni (like jerky sticks), cut small. I did add some sauteed spinach and cheese today, but I figured I could bring a Baybell cheese for at least the first day camping and can look for some freeze dried peppers for the trip. The result was as good as the real thing. The jerky sticks added some salt and extra zing to the scramble and would be safe to bring backpacking. I have decided to make a larger purchase to have this on hand for emergency food storage. It's really the best!
United StatesI used one package the 1st day I received my order. I made scrambled eggs, a cake & pudding. I am impressed with the taste for scrambled eggs, it was pretty close to fresh eggs & I could not tell any difference used in baking. A little pricy but I live 15 miles from a store that would have fresh eggs if I run out so I really like having a shelf stable product for that, camping & emergencies.
United Stateshaven't opened the new batch, they probably won't be opened until I need them. I can comment on past batches however. I have found no difference in taste of quality for more the last 5 yrs I have purchased your product. I like the newer packaging options like the #10 Cans w/individually sealed dozen egg packets. This great to ensure best quality.

Added benefit: ALL yellow and no slimy white bits! I always keep a stock of them on the shelf. Extra benefit: these do not take up space in the fridge!
United StatesUsing them since 2020... As of 26 Dec 2023, Lot number B2020AFD with DOP 0076, 4.5 oz remained perfect in original package despite Best By date of Feb 2023. When opened and dumped into a "lock & lock" container, the crystals were just fine well over a year after opening with no drop in quality. And as always... still easy mix, easy cook, easy clean.
Similar to fresh eggs. I used them for scrambled eggs, using a combination of water and milk.
